Just wondering when the car charges the battery on the meter in the car, mine seems to peak out at the level which is equal to the line for the negative terminal on the screen...never above that. Is this a full charge or does anybody's car charge all the way on the screen? Just wondering.

The HSD system keeps the battery within 80 to i believe 20-30 percent charge. By preventing overcharging or complete discharging, the battery lasts longer, and doesn't overheat from overcharging, which also kills battery life. This is why these NiMH batteries last longer than most batteries in laptops and cellphones. The battery management is there to ensure they last that long.
