At Lexus of Adelaide (Australia) you are presented with a box containing a bottle of MOET champagne, a box of chocolates, a huge chocolate frog, a bottle of olive oil and a small container of dukkah. That's why I've bought five cars for them 'cos otherwise I would have a BMW (LOL).

 

I was given a free tire/rim warranty (on 1 tire) and a $50 gift card from the Parts counter (so I bought a Lexus jacket).

 

I got a free tint, $50 parts gift certificate and the ding and seat guard thing added at no charge during the meeting with the finance guy(I went to the same school he did!)

I expected nothing, however. I just asked. Worst thing they can say is no.

 

Salesman gave us a set of All-Weather Floor Mats (4-Piece ).

 

Tustin Lexus (california) gave me a coffee cup for my desk.

 

I received the tint free from Park Place Lexus, Grapevine, TX. Really great dealers there!!!

I got a free can of diet coke and an offer to use the restroom before my 4 hour drive back home.

 

I received nothing from my Lexus salesman...not a thank you card, nor an email or even a telephone call to see how I liked the car. The dealership said for every hybrid they sold a tree would be planted in the customer’s name. A certificate would be then be sent to acknowledge the fact that a tree was planted. I never received a certificate, either.

My dealership had coffee and some cookies, too!!! The restroom was spotless...

 

Too funny. But no Coke for us ... it was just 2 bottles of water. The restroom was spotless as well. Nice job Lexus!!!

Oh, and since it took longer to do the dealer swap than promised (over 2 weeks v. just a few days), I asked for them to throw in the illuminated door sills for free (including installation) ... and they agreed. And when we were signing the contract I made the comment that I liked the Lexus pen they were using, so they tossed that in too. I was on a roll, so I guess I should have asked for more

 

With mine, I got a couple of things that were already with the car :

Walnut wood strip (looks nice but wouldn't miss it)
Bumper located Bike rack (not used it)
Single cargo net (this is actually useful !)

I bought mine as a 6 month old ex demonstrator, hence the selected extras. They also fixed the passenger door handle grip, although I'd have expected that done on warranty anyway.

And the extras that didn't come with the car :

Lexus champagne (which my parents still have as I don't/can't drink!)
Coffee when at the dealer

 

I got an extra set of floor mats because the car wasn't ready when they promised. Other than that just the free Tumi luggage that came with all the limited edition F-Sport models.

 

hey, Yankee. If you don't mind can I ask how much did you pay for your CT. I bought mine at Park Place also. I don't think I bargain enough for mine. We got a free cargo mat besides that Preferred Package from the dealer. We like that package alot, used many coupon in there. Who's your saleman?

I am sure the calendar is something provided by the dealership or maybe the sales person and not Lexus. No dealership had ever taken my picture for anything. It is kind of weird that they would take your picture and give you a calendar... instead of like a mug or something lasting more than a year.

 

I didn't get any kind of complimentary gift, must be a different situation for each Lexus dealer.

 

Nothing from my dealer. They used to give CDs, novelty boxed candies, etc. Now, after buying the 6th car from them, nothing.

 

I didn't get anything free and my sales people were actually kind of rude now that I look back.
However! I went to one of the lexus dinners and they were raffling prizes and I got this decent cleaning kit worth about $100. Doesn't really count but still.

 

I got a bottle of water. I should have haggled for a diet coke

 

I received an invitation to a Fancy NYC Photo studio for a sitting and Free portrait .

 

Roses and $100 paintless dent removal per month as long as I own the car.

 

Got the standard accessory pack wiped off the MSRP. Went back to have the F Sport sways and springs put in and this time he mailed me the Cross F Sport Pen and Letter of Appreciation. I guess that's so I can write them more checks. . . :-/

 

This is kind of unrelated, but some might wondering to install some F sport accessories...How much did the dealer quote for labor? How was the ride before and after?

 

I got mine at Park Place Plano and all I got was leather key gloves.

- 1 coupon for full car detail at a local detailer

my dad took my cap.

 

I got a stupid flower/plant arrangement.
I even told them NOT to send it to me, and just to let me choose something of equivalent value from their "toys"
They said ok they will do that, but I still got the arrangement in the mail.

Well, I got an official Lexus Electronic Device Holder for the CT. Not sure what it would retail for but is still in the package and I don't know if I'll ever use it. Especially since one of the cool features of the CT was the Blue-tooth integration so I never take my iphone out of my pocket and still make/recieve calls!

On the soda/water/cookie etc.. end I took them to the cleaners! They made my buying experience hell and I spent 5 freakin' hours at that dealership just trying to order the damn thing. Between that and the 2+ hours I spent there when I picked up the car I must have gone through at least a dozen diet-cokes and at least as many of the Mrs fields cookies they had in the lobby. I've got 4-5 Lexus pens and I stole 2 copes of Car and Driver from the waiting area When I got tired of cookies I'd grab bags of chex-mix and while all this probably cost them all of about $20 at least I got the satisfaction of getting something
