How to get the car jack out of the trunk?

Hi,

I'm having trouble getting the car jack out of the trunk-- it is stuck on some sort of latch/hook over the top and I don't know which way to push or pull to get it out of there. Anyone?

Nevermind I figured it out-- twist the part where you put the metal bar in to move the jack up and down-- turn it to shrink it and it comes out-- I was thinking I needed to push or pull it off --
