I just had to share my excitement, considering I use to fill up the SUV at an average of $90 per gas station visit.

$36 to fill up the CT's tank from nearly empty just a few minutes ago... WINNING!!!

P.S. True Story: Just as I was pulling into the gas station, someone else in a silver CT was pulling away into traffic; my first CT sighting in LA (outside of test drivers around a dealership). Anyway, we noticed each others CT and we almost simultaneously gave each other the "thumbs up" sign to each other like geeks. LOL!

i have yet to see another ct on the road yet, but i do definitely agree with the great fuel savings.

It's funny we're talking about giving the thumbs up to a fellow driver in the same Lexus as us...usually reserved for motorcycles and such...you would NEVER see an older person in a new Lexus LS giving the thumbs up to another person in an LS...I guess this CT is starting to catch on like a cult car...very cool indeed.

I honestly think the thumbs up probably had to do more us sharing in the same joy of seeing another CT on the road, since there's still very few of us out there... and perhaps that grin on his face also meant to say to me, "You'll be smiling soon, too, when you see how little you'll be paying to fill her up!"... hehe
