Window too "reflective"?

Anyone else having a hard time looking at the driver's side mirror because of the reflection of the dash on the window?
I know this isn't something unusual, but for some reason, this car seems to be more of a bother. I'm wondering if it's because of that silver trim that it's 'amplifying' the reflection.
