Just a quick question where is the GPS antenna ?

Is it with the radio antenna on the roof or somewhere else.

Oh wow never thought it would be there,

Seems to work ok though

my old portable gps would not get a signal in a car park / multi story car park so if you were somewhere not known to you and you wanted to know which way to turn coming out of the car park you had to guess and then wait for a signal !

The NAV in the CT seems to get a signal straight away :)

Well, it also doesn't hurt that when you shut off the car, it memorizes that position and assumes you're not towing the car or anything like that, so the next time you turn on your car, it can make a pretty good guess as to where you are and lock on more quickly, whereas with a portable GPS, it never really knows where it will be when you turn it back on. LOL.

Ok that would help to.

I also like the way you can turn the car off and when you power back on the route guidance just carries on.

I was worried about the NAV graphics before I got it like no 3D view on portable models but now I have used it the way it splits the screen near turns and junctions and has the count down I really like it.
