well as i live in sweden the ct200h is not out yet but my name is down to get one as they come in. but for you lucky few that have your hands on one i need to find out some info. in sweden we need winter tyres and i am going to order a set but i need the info from the oem ones.
so i need pcd and center size and et so i can order the right size.
i found out they have 215/45/17 or 205/55/16 so i guess the smaller will be ok as winter tyre size. thanks for any answers and will soon be looking forward to posting on here once my car has arraived.

thanks again
jason

I check on Tire Rack they have the CT200h already set up
Only tires displayed - Tire Rack doesn't have the rims up yet.

They will be the same rims available for the Prius.

or even VW GLI's, Subaru Impreza's etc.

OE is 5x100 17x7 +45 offset with a 54mm centre bore.

I'm looking at some 5x100 18x8 +39 BBS RS-GT's.

I too am looking for different wheels for my CT. We tried 18x8 but the offset had the wheel showing outside the sheet metal. With a lower offset that may be better, but I am concerned about the fit and possibly affecting the steering with the wider wheel. Having said that, I was at the car show this past weekend and one of the two CT's had a set of 18" F-wheels wearing 225/40/18 Pirelli rubber. Wow what a difference this made to the look of the car. Now I am trying to find out anything about these wheels. The option from Lexus is for 17x7 F- wheels which will not be available for a while yet. Several early reviews of the car commented about the "larger" wheel option. According to the Sewell Lexus website (parts and accessories) the 17" option is $565. Ooch! If anyone knows about these 18's I am interested.

Just go with an 18x8+40 and you should be fine. or even +50.

Can anyone confirm that 17"x7 35 offset will fit or not??
Rims with this offset will fit a Prius so they should fit the Lexus

+ 35 will push the wheel out more by 10mm. and clear the inside more by 10mm.

My personal opinion is it would work. and look moar awesome!

My dealer in The Netherlands says it will not fit.
BTW rimsize is 17" 7.5 (not 7.0) offset 35

Spoken to the Distributor of O.Z. Racing and wasn't really sure.

He is prepared to try out a wheel if it fits or not.
Lets pray it will fitt...

For your imagination this is the wheel i want on my CT

hi team lexus,

i'm looking at some 18x8 +43 wheels for my ct200h, and am wondering if you think this wheel spec will fit nicely in the wheel well. any modifications needed (like a fender roll) to fit this wheel? how flush will this sit? any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated because it seems like you are more familiar with fitment than me.

Just pulled this from the Lexus website:

17 x 7.0-in 10-spoke alloy wheels with 215/45R17 all-season tires

Perhaps your getting different wheels than us in the U.S. ?

Are you going to go with 18" rims?

Your original post said 17 x 7 with 35 mm offset which prius has.

here is a link to perform your own calculations:

Wheel Offset Calculator

With the combination you specify you will have 6mm less clearance to the strut that with the stock rims.

With that size, you're looking at 11mm closer towards the strut towers. That's tight, but likely do-able. But tight.

The wheel surface will also extend a further 15mm out I can't see any rubbing issues with that as the OE wheel offsets are very conservative.

A bit tricky I would say.

17x7.5 +35 will definitely fit.

You will have 4mm additional of space clearing to the strut and it will extend out 16mm (will look good!). Doubt that 16mm will require rolling fenders. Stick w/ the 215 series tire.

thanks for the info/advice. looks like a slightly lower offset will work better, since the space between the stock wheel and the strut housing is fairly tight whereas there is more space outside towards the fender. i agree the stock offsets are very conservative. they have a very tucked look to them from the factory.
