Dear All,

Might as well start this thread off now.

How old are the lucky owners of CT200h's? When I was in the garage negotiating my CT I was interested to see who was coming in to have a look? I spoke with the sales guy and he said it was a mix.

So, I am 44...............

Good question.

I am not the one the car was designed for, but I fell in love with it. I have an RX350 and always wanted a smaller car.

I am 68.
haven't ordered mine yet.. but I'm 29 and planning to place my order end of this month.
I'm 45. Their studies says that the bulk of their business will come from 30-40 range. I'm very curious to see if this is actually what's going to happen.
46....will be 47 later this month but won't have the car for at least 3 months....as Tom Petty sings, "The waiting is the hardest part...."
Just turned 60
I am 44. Traded my RX350. Looking forward to fewer and less costly fillups!
64 and 66
our 1st Lexus
mpg and hatch attrached us
All these people in their mid-forties. Perhaps the CT is a manifestation of a mid-life crisis? Middle-aged dudes trying to cling to the last vestige of youth by driving what they think is a "hip" car.

I'm 46 too.

I don't see it as a "hip" car. I see it as a very good looking car that does what we want. Didn't I make that sound good for us older guys?
Being hip, interesting how many people are tweaking the car, different wheels, tinting, changing illumination inside etc. etc.

doesn't matter what age you are, you always want your car to look the best it can in your eyes anyway.

Still 44................
I am quite surprised to see all the owners in their 40's!!!

I guess people in their 20-30's can't really afford a $30k+ car yet cuz they have other priorities.. wedding, first house.. like me lol. Only way I can buy this car and still be able to save is to lease one and only adding basic options (moonroof + 17").. no other fancy stuff.. the standard car is fancy enough for me:)
Come on people, give up those ages.

Am I going to be the old man here?

Still 68..............
I'm 37. So I guess I do fall within the 'targeted' 30-40 year old range. ;)

The CT replaces the 14mpg X5 as a daily commuter car to and from work.
Very funny thread!!
At 45, being called old trying to be hip is hilarious!
I don't intend to pimp my car, cost me enough money already!
I just think that at the end, Lexus will probably see that more people in their 40+ will have bought this car compared to 30-40's. It's still expensive, like somebody said, for the average 30-40 to buy that car, while paying the house paying this paying that.
I hope more people will respond.
I haven't ordered mine yet (or even test driven, but the wife loves it, so it is pretty much going to happen). Anyway, I'm 28 and my wife is 29. This will join a '10 4Runner and a '05 MINI Cooper S. This is essentially going to replace an '07 VW GTI that let me down time and time again to the point that I got rid of it last summer. I've been waiting around for this and the Toyota/Subaru FT-86. I'm pretty sure the practical, luxury choice will beat out me trying to act like a kid.
