I have upgraded my engine undercover to the latest version. The newer version has easier access to oil pan during an oil change (bolted removable cover) and sound deadening material is much more thicker. Came off from a 2017 CT.

Got it from the wreckers for $100.

What vehicle did that new version come from?

It was from a 2017. I have been waiting for months to find a wrecked one.

Ah nice, so it was a CT200h part. I didn't know they changed them at some point. I suppose my 2016 already has the later one.

I also didn't know and noticed the difference when I was watching an oil change diy in youtube. The latter undercover is much easier to access than the old one. The old one keeps messing with my oil bucket and not flexible at all.

What year was the change? And would it match my 2012?...**** I'll get under there tomorrow and check it with yours. Cheers! And Happy Thanksgiving

2014 onwards. Yes it matches ours.

Did you notice any noise reduction? The sound insulation on the new cover is really on a different level according to the photos.

Almost negligible mate. Cant even tell the difference.
