Feraz - How did you connect the power supply to the subwoofer?

My car audio guy in London is not familiar with hybrids, and gave up when he realised the battery was sealed. I was looking to add a shallow mount sub - a pioneer TS-SW2501

thanks for any pointers

If you reference the manual, there's a 12V battery in the truck NEXT to the sealed hybrid battery on the far right of the trunk, hidden under a pull out panel. It's a nice location because you can tap right in without any major extension power cables.

Were you able to put the subwoofer built in so you don't take up any of the cargo space. i had a JBL 10" sub with a JBL amp under my back seat in my Tahoe. It was very clear loud base. I did purchase the premium sound with mine and I feel it sounds a little muddy/muffled in comparison. Also my Tahoe had the Bose system with it.

Yes - there's a compartment hidden under the boot lid right next to the battery. My sub is also 10in - the compartment fits the sub, amp and wiring to the battery, all of it hidden so you don't lose any cargo space or ugly things up.

Highly recommended - big difference to the sound

Can you tell me what's the easiest way to get the radio's signal to the cargo?
