These are the pics that I took at the CT Kick Off Party in NYC a few weeks ago at Skylight West. I had a chance to check out the CT200h upclose during the event.

This CT200h is painted Starfire Pearl (077) with black interior. The dramatic club-like lighting at the Skylight West gives you a hint of what the CT would look like in different colors. There are a lot of L-Finesse design cues inside and outside of the CT. If you notice, there are a few cues taken from many Lexus models including but not limited to the LFA, ISF, IS300 Sport Cross and etc.

Note the defined body lines that originate from the hood and flow into the grille and bumper similar to the ISF and LFA. The headlamps are projector LED type with parking lamp led accent across the bottom like the 2010 LS. Headlamp washers are going to be an option.

Unique foglamp housing shape with a different textured finish

LFA-esque folding door mirrors that are two tone with integrated/stealthy LED turnsignal and puddle lamp.

Button-less smart key remote access door handles from the current RX, HS and GX

Rear 3/4 profile shot

Styled LED taillamps exclusive to the CT. There is no resemblance to any other Lexus INCLUDING the RX

Familiar Hybrid Circle L and back up camera in the rear.

NOTE: there is no wiper installed on this handbuilt CT200h prototype. The wiper is said to be a swing down type and integrated in the upper spoiler for production versions just like the current RX and Toyota Venza. The CHMSL is LED and is integrated into the lower portion of the spoiler. The back glass appears to be one clean piece, but in actuality, the quarter glass is seperate from the back glass mounted on the liftgate.

Familiar hybrid badging is placed on the lower section of the rear door just below the accent line. Missing is the integrated lower door moulding like in the latest Lexus sedans and RX.

Distinct quarter window "kick up" is more prominent in the CT. This design gives a more masculine feel. This a cue that first started with the 2IS.

Front center fascia is pulled forward to give a more aerodynamic feel. This approach is very similar to how the ISF's front end is designed. The headlights have a raked look which is pulled up and back at the ends and angled down and forward at the inner edges. The upper chrome grille parallels the headlamps and has "arrowhead" type look to define the look of the CT.

Circle L grille emblem has the familiar blue accents to signify the power of "h". Behind the L shields the pre colllision system/radar cruise sensor. The lower grille actually matches the upper grille for a change!!!

The headlamps are projector LED and the fogs are conventional halogens.

Note the textured finish on the fog lamp housing. The leather-looking texture is supposed to remain for production models.

Below hoodline mounted windshield wipers to help aerodynamics

Closer look of the LED headlamp assembly and lower LED parking lamps

Standard liquid graphite 17" Wheels with 215/45/R17 Michelin Primacy MXM4 Tires. Since this was a prototype H or V designation was not printed on the tire. 18" Wheels are an option. 4 wheel ABS is standard with rear wheel discs. Fitment is very good for a stock Lexus!

Rear lower bumper resembles the vents like the original 5 door hatchback IS300 Sport Cross.
