thanks for posting. makes me feel vindicated in my choice of car. i got a lot of flack from my friends for buying this car, although it wasn't so much for the choice of car but the amount of speed/handling i gave up to have the ct200h instead. my main choice for buying the ct200h was because of versatility and fuel efficiency.

I almost got a third generation prius but was waiting because the economy was so bad and I felt wrong buying a new car when co-workers were being laid-off. MAN I'm glad I waited. The CT200h is what the new prius SHOULD have been. While you trade about 10mpg give or take, it basically has all the trade-ups in terms of comfort which is what I was really looking for.

Test drove one and fell in love with it. Don't let any of your friends give you flack!

thanks mr. nelsby, but the flack don't bother me! :) my confidence is not shaken and the 45+ mpg at consistently rising gas prices doesn't phase me.

Same here. But I'm the one that's smiling whenever I pass a gas station! Nearly 4 bucks for 87 in LA!

I have performance cars and speed if I really need it. In New Jersey where I live, the traffic is so bad and the roads are so bad, that my CT is peppy enough in sports mode. The only difference now, is now I am happy when I pass every gas station! The prices are climbing each time I pass one! This car is about comfort and fuel efficiency!

Agree, the local Gas station here has Reg 87 octane for $4.09 a Premium 93 Octane for $4.39 !!!

And at 45 MPG on average, it's a no brainer !!!

As Dochusar said, if I want to go fast, I will take the Sports car out. Otherwise, I drive a Hybrid and smile.
