Tow Bar

Does anyone know if there is a dealer anywhere in Europe that I can buy a tow bar. The reason is I live in the UK and apparently the British dealers do not recommend or supply tow bars for the CT200h as they say it will invalidate the warranty. I have seen them advertised in the USA but the cost is about $400 for shipping. Any suggestions

Endless googling and ebay-ing must surely unearth something in the U.K.?
Still looking and no success.
I think by the time I find one I will have changed the vehicle.
What are you towing? If your hooking up a tie bar bike rack then ok. However if you actually plan to pull something I would highly advise against it.

I've just found something remarkable. I can buy a Brink towbar for CT200h in the Netherlands for 577 euro (https://brink.eu/nl-nl/). When I change the website's language to English, the option is gone!

However, I would advise against fitting a towbar on a CT. Neither the drivetrain nor the body were ever designed for it. You may also experience insurance problems if something ever happens while towing.

If you don't want to tow, but just carry a bike rack, then there are Lexus solutions for that.
Drivetrain should be able to take it, with Auris hybrid towing is allowed but max trailer weight is only 350 kg. Lexus is offering a bike rack which requires a tow bar installed, it could be made by Brink I think. Atleast the coupling is Brink/Thule -style..

Don't try to outsmart the designers. This is not the Auris. It's your car so you can do as you wish but it's not a good idea.
