Touch-Up Paint Apparently Not Available for Some New CT Colors

Already have a sizable paint chip when my passenger opened the door scraping the sidewalk. The doors are so low it's easy to do.
Went to the Lexus dealer today to buy a bottle of Fire Agate Pearl touch up paint. Turns out it's a new color, and it's not in stock - in fact you can't even order the touch up paint yet since there is no part number in the system yet. The dealer here is going to look into it; marvelous. Fortunately, the primer is still left on the door so the chip shouldn't rust while Lexus gets its act together to supply the paint.

They do have Fire Agate Pearl (4V3) listed as Brown Spice Mica (4V3) in 1/2 oz touch up paint bottle for $9.95

Here is link from one website
darkride, thanks for the link. Got a message from the dealer today that Lexus-branded and supplied touch up paint will not be available for 2-3 months. They suggested in the meantime to go to a body shop to have the paint mixed according to the code 4V3. Looks like your link is a generic paint supplier that sells small amounts which looks like a better bet that having a local shop mix up a larger quantity.
Better yet, while looking at Sewell Lexus who does a lot of online parts for Lexus, they have Fire Agate Pearl listed for $7.99 and says InStock.

Part #: 00258004U721 if you needed to look elsewhere.

Happy shopping
No moulding I have ever seen would have protected the paint in my case. The very bottom edge of the door was scraped across the surface of a sidewalk when opening the door, and the paint on the bottom edge got mangled and a chip flaked off going up 1/8" on the side where you can see it. I had 3M Scotchgard paint protection film installed on a previous car and the installer ran strips along the door edges. If protective film was put on the bottom of the door, it might have helped in this case, but I don't think installers routinely put the film put on the bottom edge of the door.

Have picked up my first chip, on the bumper, which now can be seen quite easily as the car is white and the chip is BLACK! Contacted my Lexus dealer here in the UK and have been told that there is no touch up paint available for the CT's yet? Will just have to wait I guess.

The white color is StarFire Pearl <077> paint code. Color is used on several other models.
Your dealer should have touch up paint for Starfire Pearl (077) color, as it is same color as models such as IS, ES.

Dealers just don't have touch up paint (yet) on certain new colors for CT

Thanks for that, have ordered it online via a 3rd party, you just give them the paint code (plate inside the passenger door tels you this), the registration, the name of the colour and they mix it, 100% match or your money back. Can't ask for more than that, so will be touching up my nasty chip on the bumper next weekend.

As for Lexus, here in the UK they are not great with any of the accessories (I include touch up paint here). They wanted to charge £488 for the illuminated sills, I bought them from Sewell and imported them and still didn't get anywhere near this amount. You just get the feeling they are not very interested in this stuff (based on my experience with my Lexus Dealer).
