Tire Pressure Sensors

Hi All.
We have a 2013 CT200H and it looks like the tire pressure sensors are toast. Regardless of the pressure, it always shows as being low. Are these sensors specific to the CT or will a generic version do the job at probably not the Lexus premium price?
The Lexus dealer asked if we wanted to replace the batteries about 2 years ago ( I am assuming that they are replaceable) but that didn't really work for long. Actually had a Lexus dealer in Vancouver tell my wife to 'just put more air into them' they were at ~34 PSI at the time.

I don't think the batteries can be replaced easily. You still have to remove the sensor from inside the tire to do it. So, usually it's just easier and recommended to replace the whole sensor. They do go bad/dead over time, and at 2013, yeah it's time. You can get generic/cheap ones, as long as they all match and can be programmed to the car. When mine go bad, I figure I'll just ignore it until I need new tires.
