depends on where you live really. if you live in the snow belt, this is next to impossible to achieve right now when its still cold, wait til the summer. also depends on if you have alot of hills to climb up, traffic lights and stop signs, highway only, how fast you are driving (if over 55mph you lose mpg) how smooth the traffic is, whether you have A/C or heater on, outside temperature etc

40mpg is achieveable in warm weather, if not better

IMO, I don't think we could calculate accurately... what would be the references? distance/gal... distance could be accurate, but how could we be sure about the gals?

when you fill up the tank? and also reset the trip computer after you fill it up

i just got around 38.6MPG and its still below freezing over here
