Finally got the Thule roof rack installed, just in time for my camping trip! I couldn't use the recommended measurements with the Hull-a-Port Pro since it was messing with the moon roof's ability to open. I could take some more pics of the install if there's interest. I'm happy with it so far, but I haven't measured the impact (if there is any) on my gas mileage yet (50 mile commute each way). I should have data on that soon.

Thanks, the wheels are Motegi MR121 with stock tires. I'm currently not lowered, but I'm looking into that next spring possibly. I'll grab some more pics this weekend.

Another pic with the tandem kayak mounted from my trip this past weekend. Worked out pretty well but either the kayak is wider than usual or the included Thule straps are too short. Had to re-route them through the holes in the kayak in order to strap everything in.

How did it drive? Did the yak vibrate? This was my biggest worry when I purchaced, I'm a kayak fisherman and was close to selling my yak on craigslist when I saw your original post and hoped there was a chance that I didnt have to give it up. Looks like it cleared the antenna without any problems which was definitely a concern...now just where to put the fish without tainting my new car smell =)

The kayak did vibrate. Initially. Once I tightened the front and back straps (really tightened them) there was no longer an issue. My trip was 3+ hours through the Adirondacks and on Interstates (doing 70+ at times) and I wasn't concerned at all about the it moving around. There is plenty of space to clear the antenna, but not enough to open the hatch with my specific kayak on top, not sure about it in general. There is definitely enough room to mount 2 kayaks with the LB50.

Edit: Forgot to mention gas mileage. It definitely dropped with the kayak on top. Went from roughly 40-44 to 32-36 (38-41 with the roof rack alone). Hope that helps.
