Hi Everyone!

I am now beginning the journey on "real" mods. As of now, I have the IS250/350 Auto Shift knob, illuminated door sills, OEM all rubber floor mats, OEM trunk tray, and like all the nets for the trunk lol. Oh yea DDM Tuning HIDs for the headlights and fogs. 4300k for headlights and 3000k for fogs.

I recently just ordered a coilover kit, sway bar kit, wheels/center caps, and lug nuts. Here's what I bought and from where in case you are interested in purchasing similar parts or just need a recommended/trust worthy online retailer:

Coilover Kit: Tanabe Sustec Pro S-0C Kit, ~$900 shipped - http://www.tanabe-usa.com/s0c.asp?id=6

Sway Bar Kit: Lexus F Sport Kit, ~$390 shipped - http://lexus.sewellparts.com/accessories-catalog/FSport/CT200h-2012/4576.html

Wheels: Work Emotion CR Ultimate in Bronze 17x7 5x100 +38mm offset - http://www.workwheelsusa.com/product.php?category=27&wheel=1003 ... My size will be a flat face/semi concave. And I believe wheel weight is ~18.48 lbs ... currently can't find source. I believe i read it on another forum and that someone messaged Work directly. It definitely be under 19 lbs because that's how much the old Work Emotion CR Kai weighed in 17x7. These are CAST wheels.

Centercaps: Work Emotion raised black conical looking type - http://www.workwheelsusa.com/media/wheels/27/1003/colors/348.jpg

Wheels and center caps were ~$1650 shipped

Lugnuts: Project KICS BullLocks and Nut Kit, ~$60 shipped - http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/...116931.html?osCsid=5qcu8rkhjjeeopmdq83rjfcd22

Here is a pic of the boxed up coilovers, sway bar kit, and lug nuts: (Wheels won't come for about 30-60 days, they come straight from Japan and the bolt patter/offset is considered custom so it might take some extra time. I was required to put 50% down, no biggie.)

I'm going to update this thread on install progress as parts come in and when I have time. So please stay tuned!! I hope to install coilovers and sway bar kit on May 4 with my cousin. (He's our car guy lol)

I ordered the Coilover kit, wheels/centercaps, and lugnuts from vividracing.com, I am working directly with a rep there. His name is Arsha Khamenehi and he email is [email protected], if you have questions or want to inquire about order, he/they are great to work with. If you do choose to message him, tell him Chris with the CT who recently bought mad stuff referred you to him. The site has great pricing/price matching ability. I received my items so far in a timely manner. I ordered TEIN springs for my friend's FR-S as well. Great experience over all. ... I ordered the F Sport Sway bar kit from a Lexus Dealer via ebay.

A lot of these mods have been done before but i'm going to try to keep everyone up to date anyway. :)

I hope that this thread will help us learn even more!

Yay. After a long Saturday, the Tanabe Sustec Pro S-0C Coilovers are in! We didn't install the F Sport Sway Bar Kit due to lack of some tools and time. I'll save that for next time. The install took about ~4 hours out in the hot sun. Delays were caused by working with the springs to take them in and out, getting some bolts back in took some time, losing this 1 nut in the back took a lot of time (from the rear left shock), my cousin's first time seeing the shock and spring separate for the rear, and some learning curve stuff. He did the main work, I just helped him out.

The ride is really nice. It's just ever so slightly more rough that stock but i expected that. Got a lot of compliments when I took some people for a ride today.

When we installed the rear springs, we put it almost towards the lowest setting. For some reason, the rear left spring wasn't adjustable once we had it in there... there was something blocking the way. If i recall right, the rear is dropped at ~1.25 inches and the front is about .25 inches lower.

Now the CT looks even better and it still handles amazingly well. I plan on getting the F sport Sway Bar installed/alignment done in about 2 weeks. I have the free 5,000 mile service this coming Saturday and i'm already at ~5500! oops :p

There is a small error in the album, the pic that says both rear and front dropped, ... it should just say front dropped rear stock height. We ran out of good light for pics when we finished so I don't have a pic of both lowered yet.

New Wheel Gap: This might have changed a little (due to spring settling), i noticed 2 fingers today don't fit as well as yesterday :)

Looks like you're making some progress, keep it up! One question though, if you're going to buy wheels esp from a great company like Work, where you can pick almost any specs why go with "sunken in" oem specs?

Great question. I wanted to stick with the OEM specs mainly due to weight reduction and cost. I was able to essentially get the custom bolt patter for that offset for free somehow so I wanted to roll with it. While 1650~ for a set of for is still "pricey" it could have been a bit more with 18s, and a bit heavier since the wheels I got are only cast rather forged... :(

New update, I set up an appointment for the 18th this month to have them install F Sport Sway bar kit, check/adjust height if needed, and do an alignment. I won't be driving into work too much this week with the CT. I will post more pics once everything is done after the 18th :)
looking good bro! I'm going to be doing my coilover install this wknd.
Looks good! Can't wait to see the wheels installed.
Thanks! I can't wait for the wheels to come... fingers crossed for early June!!
Never knew work made cast wheels. Hows the coilovers ride quality compared to oem ... in terms of driver comfort?

As for the sways install, should be all simple hand tools right?

Just looked it up I was thinking the same thing, but nope they do lol.

It was hand tools but the process was really involved compared to other sway bar installs he done in the past. Also we were quite short on time lol.

For ride comfort, it's def a little more rough than stock. but not by much. I can still enjoy a very comfortable ride. 5-10% more rough than stock i'd say.

A little update, i think the springs are settling in now, my rears have under 1 finger gap. I mean, i can get it in there easily still but my finger goes in at an angle. I'm considering raising it a bit.

Everything is complete! For now. Coilovers in and adjusted, overall drop of about 1.25 inches. F Sport Sway Bar kit is in and good to go. Now i'm just waiting on my wheels to get here! Here are some "exciting pictures".

Rear sway bar and chassis brace, also, the directions don't mention the brace at all. Kind of strange lol

LOWERED AND GOOD TO GO (2 fingers fit real nice between fender and tire in the front, perpendicular fitting and in the rear, i can fit 2 fingers in there but they go in at a sight angle, in the rears lowest setting i was able to get 1 finger in there at an angle):

I'll be interested in seeing how the matte bronze looks on the white.
How was the ride after the sway bars, your mods are exactly how I would start mine!! Great job, now to find a CT200h!!!!

Thanks! I'm so excited to get the wheels on. I will be going to the shop Thursday afternoon this week to put on the wheels.

As for the ride, it's a bit firmer than stock. I have the F sport edition which does come with some sway bars. The blue f sport sway bars are a bit more "agressive" and the shop put them in at the most "agressive" setting. I really like it.

THIS PART OF MY BUILD PROCESS IS COMPLETE. WOOOOOO! PICS BELOW... Sorry for not the best lighting in the pics, it was rainy and cloudy when I got home :( I'll take better ones after my TOMS body kit and BeatSonic Sharkfin antenna are mounted :)

TPMS was xfer'd over from OEM wheels. No issues with them on the drive home which was about 50 miles. Also, tires look extra dirty cuz i think of the machine they were usin to take it off oem wheel or w/e. SO BROWN.
