Why did Lexus put in 2 buttons for the sunroof:tilt(up/down) and open/close? When you close the sunroof, the sunroof closes to the tilt position. I would think if i hit the button close, the sunroof should close all the way.

I think it's called Lexus Logic... same reason the footwell lights stay on (but are dimmed) when driving at night. Things that make you go.... hmmmmmmmmmmmm :)

Ventilation

Open -Close - all-the-way open or all-the-way closed

Tilt-Up Tilt-Down Ventilation - allow some outside air in

Engineers smarter than us dictated the operation of the switches... No wait, it could have been the marketing people. It's not an error in logic, it's a feature! :);)

Wouldn't that actually be "two touch closing" then? :)
I was being facetious !!!

Lexus use of the term "one touch" deserves to be eradicated from the manual.

I didn't get the "one touch" moon roof option :(

LOL - I don't think they used the term "one touch" on the Moonroof, just on the windows.

I believe the phrasology used on the moonroof is "Push and Hold"

However, it has been so hot and dry here the A/C runs full blast most of the time and the moon roof always stays closed.
