Scary!

Today I looked under the front seats (I was looking for my wallet) and I didn't like what I saw, at all! There is a bunch of cables and connections under both front seats and it looks like a cover is missing. I was really impressed in a bad way, I don't see how it's possible that such a well built car has something like that in a place where you don't usually look, it's like dusting the dirt under the carpet, not good at all!

Now I'm wondering if they actually forgot to put covers on my car or if they're all like that. Please have a look at yours and let me know.

Big thanks!

No covers

Fess up you were looking for change for Starbucks !!!!
LOL! (We actually don't have Starbucks in Italy, which I think it's a pity since I love caramel macchiatos and cinnamon rolls).

But, seriously, what do you think of the cables?

That was one thing I really missed when we were in Italy...but the gelato made up for it!! :D

Seems like they should have covers over the cables but I don't think it is an uncommon practice to leave them uncovered...
Shielded cables and connectors don't really need additional covers. There are no bare wires exposed. In concealed areas like under the seats you wouldn't expect extra covers.

Agreed. Just don't look there. Or if you're vacuuming your car under there, just turn your head & look the other way! :p

Had not noticed this & will need to check it out later.
