to be honest, most car companies "claim" that their car can achieve amazing fuel economy in their brochures.
honda insight advertise their car to be able to do 21km/l
lets be honest, the only way the insight will be able to do that sort of figure would be if the driver is constantly hyper-mile-ing. In Malaysia, the CT 200h brochure claims that our car can do 31km/l. i am averaging 19km/l. and most of us are doing around 19km /l.
i usually take the "claim" fuel consumption plus a 30% for a hybrid (and NA cars) and plus 40% for a turbo.
