New owner here. I am absolutely happy with the CT my only gripe is the roof rack situation. I'm an avid surfer and I need a RACK!!! From what I can tell the best rack out there is the Yakima Whispbar. The installed product looks super clean with the flush bar system. The problem is that Whispbar was recently purchased by Yakima. I was able to get the part numbers (fit kit etc.) from Yakima but they say the product is not available and they have no idea when it will be. It seems like the only chance would be to find a NOS part that was in stock before Whispbar was purchased by Yakima. The fit kit needed is the K586. The corresponding bars are the S5 (flush bars). Does anybody have a solution? Alternative? Thule? Custom install at a body shop? Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.

Haha, saw that one. I'm ok, putting the shortboards inside for now. If somebody posts a picture of a 9'6" noserider or an 11 foot fishing Stand up Paddle board inside, my problem will be solved and I'll be impressed . I'm sure that Yakima will get up to speed eventually but I'm bad at having patience. Reviews say the Whispbar is almost silent and doesn't decrease mpg much at all.

Can you order from the UK? Lexus original roof bars are available from the .UK Lexus website.

I called the parts department at my Lexus dealer and asked about the OE racks that are available in the UK. They said they couldn't help me in ordering them and that they "might be able to install them if they come with directions." This conversation didn't instill alot of confidence in me. I found a couple of dealers in the UK that have the ProRack/Yakima/Whispbar fit kit in stock but I'm not sure they will ship to the US. The K586 fit kit is turning into a holy grail quest.....
