I ordered a set of these today thru Brian at Fox Marketing (his username is FoxCars over on Club Lexus and owns the supercharged CT with the widebody kit). He's not with Road Magnet, but he helped them develop them and loaned his car to them for developing them and gave feedback to get the spring rates where he felt they would be appropriate for the CT but without a harsh ride.

Hoping to maybe get them installed in a week or so...we will see. If you're interested, you can get them thru Brian and save yourself $ rather than getting them thru their site and paying full price.

Here are the specs on the springs. The rates are higher in the rear due to the rear batteries:

Drop the vehicle 1.25" in the front and 1.75" rear with rates of 260 lb/in and 300 lb/in front and rear.

Here's the site, the CT is on the main page on the right: Welcome to Road Magnet. There are before/after comparison pics on there too...nice subtle drop IMO that evens out the fender gap.

I will report back once I get them installed! :D

Nice find jimmyc!!! I wish the front drop were just a little more, but I might be reaching out to Brian very soon.

Thank you very much for sharing this.

Mine are ordered and I'm pumped. I have a corner in my storage space where my CT mods are slowly piling up... and I haven't even received the car yet. I've really locked myself into this one haha. Thanks for the find, Jimmy.

Nice pomexcan. What are your wheel/tire specs again? I am hoping to get some 18's with a 35 offset and shouldn't have any issues w/ clearance, but always like to see someone else w/ a similar setup with that working!

17x8 +40 on stock tires. To the naked eye the front wheel lips are flush with the fender and the rears are still a good 3-5mm inside. A +35 on a 7.5 inch wide wheel should be more than fine, but an 18x8 +35 might sneak out just a hair in the front and require a little more negative camber so that there aren't any issues at full turn and going into driveways. I'm sure it will also depend on the drop too.

I found some used 17x8 BBS RGR's and am waiting for pics to see if they are worth or it - and if not I'll stick to the plan to run on these 17's until it comes time to replace the tires and then look for 18's or lightweight 19's.

Jedi - Yes, any time you lower a car, you are going to sacrifice ride quality a bit...how much? I'm just not sure.

My springs arrived today, just as planned, though my shop is booked up this Saturday, so it won't be until 8/13 that they are installed...oh well...

Looking forward to hearing about it all... specifically the difference in ride quality. Don't complain about waiting two weeks!

Just got confirmation that the drop is actually 1.75 F and 1.25 R - it should even out the fender height. Mine should ship tomorrow or Thursday. I'll try to line up a shop for Tues. / Wed. next week.

Funny that you should point that out. I noticed it when I first read the description and just automatically corrected the error in my head and didn't think much of it... unless reverse rake is cool now.

Thanks pomexcan, that makes more sense & seems to match the pics posted on that site. Going to need to be REAL careful now with curbs and curb stops up front when parking. The good news is this CT has a much smaller front end/nose length when compared to my prior car and I'm always a ways away from the curb when parking & still have room at the back of the space, since the CT isn't too long.

Post pics if you get a chance, as it looks like you're going to beat me to the install!

Wonder how these springs compare to the f-sport springs? I understand the road magnet are designed to lower car.

Would be a cool comparisons

Will do. I'm penciled in for next Wed. the 10th. I still haven't received a tracking number - so I may have to push that back. I usually back into parking spaces out of habit from all my previous vehicles, but my son's daycare has a driveway I'll definitely need to take at an angle.

You will get them in time. I didn't get a tracking number until they day before they arrived!

That's funny, my daughter's daycare is the same scenario, I'll have to approach that differently too (no pun intended)!

No springs yet - so my install date of the 10th is a no-go... Hopefully these show up this week so I can get on the shop schedule for next week.

Sorry to hear that pomexcan, did you get a tracking number?

They look good out of the box. I never received tracking on mine but contacted Brian who said he's a little backed up on that. Wheels are a secret... wait, I think I told Jimmy already. d'oh! Pictures will be available for enjoyment in a matter of weeks. (hopefully)
