So I was changing my plate number, but when I attempted to unscrew the screw holding the plate. The plastic part came off so first off any advice on how to remove the plastic thing lef tin the hole (see picture)

Need to buy a new screw so does anyone know what is the exact screw name/spec I need for it to fit at the rear back holding the plate number?

Fortunately, that's plastic and very easy to get to. I'd just use a drill or a smaller metal screw and thread it in there to remove it. Or, just put a new screw right into it. Or, have some sort of screw or piece of metal that can fit in there and heat the metal up with a lighter until it's hot enough to melt the yellow plastic, put the hot metal in and wait for it to cool, and then remove the plastic.

Thanks, I drilled into the plastic screwdriver. Then used a screwdriver, and kept rotating it anti-clockwise and it was unwinding out.

If anyone is wondering too, I used M6 20mm plastic screw and it fit the rear licence plate mount on my 2017 Lexus CT200h.
