Yes, it is possible. I've installed a Gentex with compass/temp display. I know there was no point in the temperature feature, but it was only like...an extra $5 in price (not worth the extra labor, though! ~lol). Autodimming mirror is a must for this vehicle, in my opinion.

I was wondering something similar. The car I am looking to buy does not have Nav or a backup camera. I was hoping to add the backup camera option later. Need the camera and a new rear view mirror with the screen. If it can be done and wiring is already part of the car's wire harness, I would have a stock mirror with compass and auto dimming for sale.

Not sure I understand... are you asking if you can simply take out the old mirror and plug in the new one with a camera display on it?

If you get a backup camera with a mirror display, you'd get a complete installation/wiring kit. Maybe you can compare the harnesses? Either way, some wire work will have to be done because I highly doubt our CT's are pre-wired for a backup camera.
