I have the navigation system, and the rear view mirror does not have compass capability. Is it possible to replace the original mirror with one with a compass?

The only way to get a compass in the nav system is to give up half the screen to an oversized compass display

Why do you want a compass or need one when you have the NAV? I have a compass in my car and never use it, as I use an aftermarket NAVI. Just wondering. Good luck, but I'm thinking the answer would be yes.

Familiarity. I've driven a car with a mirror compass for the past six years, and I've used Garmin gps units, which display direction, for considerably longer. Besides I'm an old (from years when almost half the AF planes still used propellers) Air Force navigator. Habit is a hard thing to break.
