Production Update

I was just told, that as of last night, production on the ES, IS, CT and LS is back up to 100% !!!

Hopefully we can fill orders quicker now !!

Typically, its 90 days out.

Thanks Andy!! Great to hear!! Do u know if a CT is ordered now, with it come in as a 2012? And do u have any info on the 2012. I see a lot if people in this forum are being told there car will be a 2012 but how can a dealer order a car and not no any info on it. I know that the 2012 will basically be about the same but just say they are changing the colors around and the color combo that was ordered was dropped from the 2012 lineup? Are those dealers actually putting in those orders or are they just holding on to the deposit and waiting for a 2012 release then placing the order? Know what I mean?? Thanks brother!!

Great to hear. I just paid off my 2010 4Runner, so I'm itching to get another car payment.

I would assume the Prius and Prius v production is back up as well? That is essentially what I've narrowed our search for my wife's hopefully-future-mommy-mobile down to.

Here's to hoping a discount in is the near future with production back at 100% and orders being filled.

I honestly don't have an answer as to any changes to the 2012 models that are confirmed. There is no way to order a 2012 model now, but what happens is at a certain point, orders on the 2011 will flip to 2012 models.

From what I'm being told, yes they are at 100% production as well.

It's only been 15 weeks for me.........I'm doubting mine will ever come at this rate, but this does make me feel a little better and more optimistic.

Why wouldn't you count on it - I got a great discount even last week. what about dealer holdback - I understand that on these new orders, Lexus (the dealer) will get about 3% of the base price back every quarter? So even if sold at wholesale to the customer - the dealer would still profit 3% off the sale of a new car (even if they have to wait for a cheque for 3 months?)...

Maybe I don't completely understand it - but there are deals to be had!

I have been trying for 3 months to find the right ct to order. can you tell me if the F-Sport can be had in tungsten pearl with Water Gray Leather. As in Southern Calif. light colors are best for me.
