The rear amp is in the very back, on the drivers side. If you open the hatch you will see the cover. It protrudes about 1/4 of an inch.
The Home Link is in the front ceiling control panel that sits above and behind the rear view mirror. The 3 buttons sit in front of the sunroof controls.

I have the Premium Audio and I've tuned the bass up to max and it does okay. Its no subwoofer, or Mark Levinson system. But the sound is good enough in the car, just don't know how the bass sounds outside if thats what you were looking for with the bass.

Nice pictures. As Darkride notes the sound is not going to pulse you out of your seat but it certainly is more than adequate given the size of the vehicle. I see no reason to make any speaker upgrades. If you want booming car rocking bass then some changes would need to be made. Give the built in audio system a chance for awhile.
