I have them and compared to the stock ones they are twice as thick/plush. However, living here in the Northeast I'm waiting for the Weathertech ones to come out.

I highly recommend them. Much better than stock, I compared my stock ones to my wife’s IS and decide to get the premium ones immediately.

Don't have plush carpet mats, but did buy from Newport Lexus for $120 a set of all weather mats, and they are as nice and sturdy as the rest of the car. A parts consultant (they do not have an obvious parts department like we see at other car dealers -- they direct you to a phone for info, then a man can come out with parts in stock, which you can inspect while you down latte & gooies) came out from a secret door to the reception area (with grand piano and grand fireplace) and discussed the "special order" of things like this. And voila the mats came wrapped a few days later. When the mats arrived, a guy installed them for me even and washed the car for free! Fancy that! Best $40K for a car & lifestyle I might have paid recently??!! The last Mustang conv. purchased in October '10 from San Juan Capistrano cost more, but the service desk is in a shabby trailer with '70s-style sculptured carpet and their computer monitors are CRT.

Have the premium mats, double the thickness and handles better than the standard mats.

Are all standard floor mats black regardless of the seat color? I'm wondering because the premiums only come in black.

The premiums seem darker. Is that just the photos?

Since I can't get my car, I might as well stock up on accessories.

I bought them, but they are sooooo nice that I don't want to wreck them by putting them into use! I worry about scuffing up the brushed metal name plates! (I'm a bit OCD, so you have to excuse me) So, for now, they are in storage and I am using the stock ones. Once they wear out, or get ruined somehow, we'll see!

I have them and HIGHLY recommend them! They are heads and tails above the stock mats. They also vacuum up very nicely. If you want to save more than a few bills get them at CT Chat. That's where I got mine and I've never looked back.
