Power button won’t light up but no warning messages

My 2014 Ct has 91000 miles on it, a new 12v battery, and no problems up to this point. I noticed a squirrel coming out from under the car twice, so I decided to start it to make sure there were no problems. I pressed the break & power button like normal. It took about 5 seconds for the car to start, but the power button doesn’t light. I sat there for a bit & it stalled. I did this numerous times in succession with the same result. The dealer is extremely busy & I can’t even speak to a service advisor right now. Anyone have this problem & is it safe to drive, if I can drive it? Thanks

I wouldn't drive it unless I knew what was wrong with it. May make thing$ wor$e.

May be that the ready button is faulty?
Have you tried to drive the car?
Ask someone to look at your rear brake lights
While pressing the brake see if it's lighten?
Connect obd scanner?

I ended up towing the car to the dealer who ran all the diagnostics and no problems showed. The car is fine now except the power button still doesn’t light. It’s bothering me, but I don’t know what else to do. Thanks for the responses.

I think , you should replace the power button
Probably the bulb or the led inside are burned.

not to scare you but this happened to me right when I had a bad shaking from cold start and have coolant in my engine. also look into changing spark plugs and ignition coils
