Feels like there's much more of a community feel than any other car Ive owned. I was driving home today and in my rear view mirror saw a Starfire Pearl CT coming up on me. She quickly went to the lane next to me and started honking her horn waving giving me the thumbs up. We both had temp tags and license plate frames from the same dealer. At the stop light we chatted while waiting for a green light.

It's nice. Reminds me of when my mom used to honk at any texas license plate she saw when we moved to Arizona from there when I was a kid. All this talk about 2012 models so soon kinda has me upset that I wasnt told about it but at the same time, having someone get your attention in traffic to yell 'Go Us' is a rewarding feeling..

I bought my CT200 on the first shipment, prior to the disruption from the Tsunami. After driving the car for 4 months it is still a blast. Filled up today with 8.2 gallons that netted 386 miles, or 47 mpg. For the past 2 weeks the A/C has been on non-stop due to east coast heat wave so the reduction in gas mileage is negligible. i get a lot of compliments. I still have yet to see another CT200 on the road.

I think that it's more a factor of a brand new model of a vehicle that's very different than anything that the manufacturer has previously sold, that causes that.

I found a similar "community feel" when I bought my Civic Hybrid in 2003 (the first year that Honda sold them). A co-worker has had the same experience with his early Prius.

I had a similar experience with my MR2 Spyder also.
