Was on the highway commuting home when an SUV in front of me sucked a huge piece of plywood off the road and it flipped into the air into my bumper.

The bumper is completely ruined (and a fog light is gone), but luckily nothing else was damaged.

I have a very reputable body shop that I love, but I've heard horror stories about paint matching Starfire Pearl, as it's a complex mixture.

Anyone have any experience in this department?

if the shop is reputable then there should be no issue...plus if it doesn't match have them do it over. Our cars aren't that old so there should be no issue with faded paint either.
