The Shark Fin antenna I ordered from <http://ct200hchat.com/> for my Tungsten Pearl machine arrived a few days ago and I finally got around to installing it. Great purchase as far as I'm concerned, and it was a piece of cake to install if you follow the simple directions. Reception is unchanged from what I was receiving from the rubber mast. Pics are below...

Looks great!

Waiting for mine - hopefully soon.
Wow Bill! You don't mess around! ;) It looks awesome!
Looks great, how long did it take for your order to arrive?
The rain finally stopped here and I also had a chance to install mine on Thursday when the sun finally came out :)

It took a few weeks, but I ordered mine a day or two after the CT200hChat website said they were now available. I assumed it took some time to gear up production and produce a stock in the various CT colors. John at CT200hChat can probably tell you how long it would take to ship an antenna if you send him an e-mail using the "Contact" link at <www.ct200hchat.com>.
Geez, you Tungsten Pearl guys are on it! hehe ;-) Looking good!

Did you alter the rear taillights?

No, just the way they came.

Hello there, looks good. Can you tell me if this fits cars that have sat nav? I looked on ct200 chat but the fitting instructions show a different arial base to mine. To be clear, mine has a base on it coloured the same as the car and is a bulge if that makes sense??
It should Bob259 has Nav.

I don't believe the GPS or the satellite radio antenna are part of the am / fm antenna.

That is what the shark fin is replacing.
Yes I have Nav, but my base was black with a 6-7" whip on it, as shown on the stock vehicles.
The installation instruction on CT200hchat are generic. The pictures are not of a CT.

A company named VG manufactures these antennas and markets them for a range of vehicles with different stock bases.
I ordered mine! Can't wait!
Hi - can you tell me how to get into the www.ct200h chat? It requires a log on and password - no registration appears - can't get in!!!

I am looking to order for my same color Silver CT 200h however ct200chat.com is no more working.. And I found EBay is selling it so, just wondering about the color as they said they don't have exactly same color paint code as our Silver lining metallic (Tungsten Pearl) paint code is 1J4. EBay only carry paint code: 1F7 and D6S which is very close to 1J4 however it's not exactly same. So, just wondering should I order either one or any suggestion if you might have?

By looking at your pictures looks like you have exactly matched your Silver color.. Any suggestion would highly appreciated..

Thanks!!
Fantastic color !!!!
And very nice antenna !
Great job !
My CT has Nav and DAB Digital radio, will this sharkfin be compatible for that?

It works for all kind of CTs. I have been driving by removing the antenna until I got the shark fin cover. And it worked perfectly fine, my navigation/radio etc all worked fine..

I feel good after getting rid of that ugly antenna -- feels like old school car having that long antenna on sleek CT.. :)

Basically yes it works for all navigation/radio/xm/destination assistant as it has antenna wiring inside.
