Parts From Sewell Lexus...

I ordered back on May 15th the bamboo trim (which I received) and the rear bumper protector (about $72). The expected ship date on my rear bumper protector is showing as July 5th. Anyone out there that ordered before me have an earlier ship date and received it or had an earlier ship date and hasn't received it yet? Also, I notice this part is no longer listed on their website to order. Also, looking at the parts page, noticed a cool part...a color keyed to your car front upper grill trim piece that comes in the color of your car. They are $196...looks pretty nice...not sure if I hate the silver chrome piece enough to spend $200 to get rid of it. If anyone has ordered this or knows...is it a plastic piece that covers up the silver or is it some sort of tape that sticks on to cover it up...and, if it looks bad can it be removed easily? Post pics if you have it...I'd like to see one on a real car other than the one on Sewell's site.

Ordered bumper protector and F Sport rims March 19.

Shipping still shown as June 1 - haven't received anything yet !

I had purchased the clear bumper protector through my dealer when I purchased the vehicle in March and they said they would call when its in. Nothing yet

I ordered the stainless bumper protector along with my other accessories on 5/10/11 from CT200h Chat. Still waiting for the bumper protector.

Those products still have been delayed because of parts production post-earthquake.

I think my local dealer has those in stock...he sells a lot of CT stuff on Ebay...Lexus of North Miami in Miami Florida...you can call them...the clear bumper protector

Request a refund. You will not see the till christmas. Then just reorder. Don't forget sewell have your money. If you search you will find my post entitled anyone waiting for lower moldings and rear bumper protector.

I had my chrome piece wrapped in vinyl for $40 and it seems to be holding up well. If or when it shows signs of wear - I'll likely order the OE piece since I do like the look better than the chrome piece.

Here's a message from John @CT200hChat.com re: stainless steel bumper protector:

"No good news yet on the bumper protector. I have been told it will be mid summer now for those. Lexus has contacted me regarding canceling all the orders for the bumpers, but at this time they have elected not to do so yet."

Why does Sewell and other Lexus parts places offer a rear upper spoiler for the CT200h? Don't I already have this? Doesn't this spoiler come standard on our cars---the one with the rear third brakelight installed in it? Correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like they all come with this spoiler.

I am not sure on this but the F-Sport may come with a bigger one ! I thought I read this some where but did not notice a difference in the showroom.

I just measured my F-Sport spoiler from the end of the roof to the edge of the spoiler in the middle and it's 31cm if any one else can check ?

I'm sorry, I'm not sure what you mean - but I think you mean what spoiler is on my car?

The technology package in Canada comes with a rear spoiler from the factory.

Haha sorry probably my English humor when you said "mines 27.5cm"

Yes it's the top rear spoiler with the brake light in it

I measured in the middle from the first line after the arial (last exposed part of roof where the rear hatch opens) to the edge of the spoiler, I got 31cm

He might be right. When you compare photos it does look longer on F-Sport. Maybe it is just angle. Anyone else have any thoughts?

So according to the brochure the rear spoiler is bigger and as we just checked with Boldlygo it must be a whooping 3.5cm bigger !!!
I think that's nearly 1.5 inchs for those of you in US
