Had a rather unfortunate experience at the weekend when I was shunted in the rear by another car whilst stationary at a red light.

I need a new bumper and one of the parking sensors is damaged.

I took it to the garage yesterday and the bloke just sort of looked bewildered when I asked if there would b a problem getting the parts. By his own admission he has not worked on a CT200h before but the garage is an approved lexus repairer.

Does anyone know if the parts are readily available? Judging by the few CT's on the road and the lead times on orders I suspect there could be a sizeable delay :( The car is still roadworthy but it looks a mess and would like it fixed sooner rather than later.

Although production has picked up, there still may be a delay in lead time before parts will be received. Have your dealer call up his supplier for further details, hopefully it's not as bad as it seems right now. I can't speak for supplies in Europe though.

Dude, seriously? Didn't you get hit a month or two ago also, or was that someone else?
