I posted this early and maybe someone can help me with this on here...

I was looking to lower my car but not drastically. Just trying get rid of the wheel gap. I was wondering if I just purchase lowering springs, will they be okay on the stock shocks? And if they will be okay on the stock shocks, would I have to replace the shocks sooner than later? How soon would I have to replace the shocks?

Or will I be better off copping coilover set? Again, this is my dd so I will not be pushing my car hard. Any advise will help. Thank you in advance.

Springs are the easiest and least expensive way to lower your car. Depending on what brand springs you get, you should be able to drop it about 1"-1.5" lower than stock and yes they will work fine with the stock shocks. Springs will give the the closest to stock ride also.

Don't forget that Lexus sells F Sport springs if you're worried about compatibility with your current dampers.
