just got my new car for 2 weeks and noticed upon closer look that there are chips already at the door sill on the driver's side, not sure what caused it. they are very small, less than 1/8 inch wide each
what should i do? get touchup paint from the dealer? i also purchased a 10yr rustproofing plan when i bought the car, i wonder if they will cover it
yup, many more. I try to be careful getting in and out of the car and I noticed new ones every so often. Drives me mad but at least it's on the plastic part and not the metal.
Yep chips are normal and you must have touch-up paint standing by. My dealer was nice enough to give me some for free. I also have the chip protection film on the front of my car and the mirrors and that really does help.
