Looks like here in California you can only get the CT200h 3 ways during this initial release.

Premium with no packages

Premium with Audio Package and NAV

Premium with Audio Package, Leather, NAV, LED Headlamps

Any other combination will need to be special ordered. How are CT's in other states configured during this initial release?

i visited the dealer yesterday - they only had 1 Premium with Audio/NAV and 1 Premium without anything else.

he said he had one Premium with premium audio (no NAV) coming in soon.

i am in Northern NJ.

i am looking for a Premium with Audio package but NO NAV but with rearview mirror backup camera. i would also like remote start. dealer told me a rearview mirror cam without NAV is not possible - but i am not sure if that is true or not. does anyone else know?

Don't think it's possible to get the backup cam without the NAV. The picture is displayed on the NAV lcd which isn't otherwise included.
i believe the backup cam is available in the rearview mirror (obviously if there is no NAV display you can't have the backup cam show up there).

also on kellybluebook they state an "AO" package allows premium audio with backup camera in R/V mirror (but no NAV) and LexusGuy mentioned that package as well.

it theoretically exists but i have yet to hear a dealer admit they have one (or are getting one).

You'll probably have to special order that one. I doubt some combinations are going to be made for dealers since there aren't many CT's being produced. I'm special ordering one with the following only . . .

AO - Premium Audio w/ backup camera in mirror
IL - LED Headlamps

I think you can order the rearview mirror w/backup camera separately as an accessory. I think it was $450.

Just checked and it looks like it has to be ordered with the Premium Audio Package. There are three different Premium Audio packages. One without backup camera where you can add the backup camera, one that is ordered with the NAV package and one that comes with the backup camera. Weird that you can order without the backup camera and add the backup camera which comes out to more than the one that comes with the backup camera.

can the factory remote start be added to the CT200h once the car is at the dealer or does it have to be installed at port? I'm only interested in the remote start from Lexus that is incorporated into the remote key that comes with the car

Special order time runs 8 to 16 weeks. That was before the Earthquake. Don't know about now.

Nice, glad you got one. Sorry I had to cut you short on the phone the other day. Allocation is on the 15th of every month. As far as how long it can take, it can be anywhere from 60-90 days, or longer now with the set back in Japan.

this is one of the options i wanted on mine (no nav) where the backup camera is displayed on the rearview mirror. my dealer is looking into this option that they said exists, but i'm still waiting to hear for sure what this entails. i'll post up when i get some news on this.

I don't know if the dealer can perform the install after the fact but you will need to buy new keys because there is no remote start button on the stock key

The remote start works off the lock button signal, no new key needed and teh dealer can install it.

Thanks for the info.

I don't know the benefit of remote start since the range of the remote according to the owners manual (page 53) is less than 3 feet.

So even in bad weather you would have to be next to the car to start the car not in the house.

The good new is it's cheap when already installed in the vehicle (don't know what the dealer will charge for the install after the fact)

It's NOT 3'.... if your remote will open or lock your doors you can start your vehicle with it, it's over 50' I know for sure.

Here's the pic from the Lexus accessory page for the remote it shows the extra button which is labeled engine starter. It may well be the cost of remote starter is purely the cost of new keys and programming !!!!

Since I would assume everything can be done thru' the computer

Here' the link to the accessory page
