Options when connection Google Nexus S phone via USB

In about ten weeks, I'll get my new CT200H
This week, I must order a new phone.
I'm doubting to choose either the IPhone 4 or the Google Nexus S
The dealer tells me that with the IPhone 4 connection via USB, you can select and play the music which is on the IPhone by the controls of the car.
But how about the Google phone?
Can you control that via the car controls as well?
Anyone???
I can't test it myself since I don't have the car nor the phone yet :(

The iphone 4 communication is by bluetooth for both phone and audio/music features.

You pair the phone via bluetooth and then you are able to control the phone.

You don't need the usb connection, this connection is primarily to charge the device.

The level of control of your device is a function of whether you have the nav screen or not.

With nav you can download your contact list and select individual contacts to call on the screen.

Without nav you input your contacts by voice one at a time and then use voice dial to select who you want to call.
Same for the Nexus phone. I have the Nexus one and it pairs by bluetooth, no need for a USB cable either
But it's cooler to say: "I'm calling you with my Nexus in my Lexus!":D
Seriously, 2 great phones, very similar.

Claude,
Thanks for your real customer experience. It is indeed cooler to "I'm calling you with my Nexus in my Lexus!". Good one.
What I'm wondering though, is can you easily select and play media from you Nexus, by using the controls of the car?
Apparently, there is an i-tyunes-like interface in the Lexus that enables you to browse and play your IPhone library.
Is that feature also available for the Nexus?
Regards,
Rob

Isn't it with the big Nav screen only?
I know I can scroll with the buttons from song to song, but I don't know if I can go from artist to artist for instance.
Are you sure you guys can access different songs in your iPhone4 via Bluetooth using the Nav screen? or just USB?
I think I've tried both ways with my iPhone 3GS and all I could do is play and pause the music, can't get inside the music library from the Nav screen; I would have to manually select songs directly on the phone.

But I could connect my iPod Nano to it using USB, and there's a minimal itunes-like interface where you can select songs based on artist, name, etc..
But the system is really really slow, and it takes a long time to go from A to Z, unlike a true iPod. And the sad thing is if you want to select a new song maybe 10 minutes later, you have to start scrolling from "A" again, and not the last spot you left off...
