There are a lot better ways to spend $2,195 IMHO ...for just a little more you get the Nav system.

I do agree, however it was ordered and installed for the customer that initually ordered the vehicle. Not until after it was installed did the deal not come together..

Not happy about it ourselves, but there is nothing we can do.

As much as I want a CT, I would walk away from an upcharge of $2195 for clear plastic. That is the most insanely overpriced "dealer option" I have ever heard of.

But thanks for the heads-up. If you get a Starfire Pearl I'd love to talk. Just keep the clear plastic.

The 3M is on the entire front bumper, entire front fenders and the entire front hood as well as door edges and mirrors. So there is alot of work involved.

I know it's not your fault but we wrap our company vehicles with intricate corporate logos and artwork for that kind of money. We have some vehicles with 300 - 400 sq ft of wrap.

Just to be clear. I meant no disrespect. I completely understand the cost of material and labor.

In my opinion, dealer installed options, like this one, should have been done after the customer took delivery or signed on the dotted line. That way, your dealership is not out the money if the deal goes bad. In my business, I would never spend the money on a change order or special request until I have either the cash in hand or confidence my customer can handle the charges.

For example, when I pick up my CT, I will not have the dealer pre-apply tinting. I may take a look at the car and decide not to take delivery. If so, they are trying to sell a car with tint.

My understanding is the deal was complete, but the down payment bounced and after a few days of going back and forth, the vehicle is now being offered to the public, deal cancelled. Car was NOT taken by customer.

I have the bumper, hood and mirrors protected...I think the same exact package as you describe...I had it done by Autobahnd in Massachusetts (they are all over the country though)...dealer had a list price of $695...I had them give it to me installed at what they told me was the dealers cost of about $475...for that kind of money, I felt it was worth it...but $2,195 is INSANE...no disrespect to you but if your dealer is charging that price and you get people to pay it, I have some old stuff laying around I'm sure I could sell to these people.

This car has the entire hood, front fenders both bumpers, mirrors and door edges.
