Good news for all Non-Navers... Today I successfully tested my HTC Sensation 4G phone with the CTs Bluetooth Audio System. The voice guidance from the Google Maps navigation plays well over the CT's audio system. More good news is that if you have BTA music playing from your phone that music will pause while the Voice Guidance is giving directions. Even more good news is that one can use one's voice to call up new destinations... And, last but not least, one can do that while at speed by just pressing one search button. ;)

I did a video and was uploading it, but realized that the Beck music I was playing from my HTC probably can not be used in my Video. To bad though because the graphics changing from song to song looked very nice in the video. I need to get some non-copyrighted music and have another go at the video.

The HTC Sense 4G uses Android 2.3.3. My HTC windows mobile phone also worked, but the music didn't pause for the Voice Guidance. Not sure about Apple phones for now... :)

I'll try my iPhone nav programs out when I get back home from vacation and let folks know how it goes. Looks like the TomTom app may be set up best for use via the bluetooth audio system (pausing the music and iPod control). And I think it allows you to place calls and it will still provide directions.
