Hi all,

Looking forward to shortly joining the ct 200h owners but had some quick questions that I will post in another area of the forum :)

Although, I will ask this one - when you guys test drove the ct 200h, how long did you get for the test drive? My local dealer only took me around the block - I was so shocked I didn't say anything, but now I'm feeling indignant!

Well, my dealer allowed me to drive several blocks around the dealership. But obviously, that wasn't enough. At the dealership that I actually bought the car from, I insisted on a freeway/hwy test drive w/ the car fully loaded before I would make any sort of decision on the car. Be firm and insistent and you'll get what you ask for.

Hi moo moo nel - It wasn't Sutherland Lexus, it was the Alexandria one. I've yet to get around to asking for another "lengthier" test drive, but presumably if they're not willing I'll head to Sutherland. What sort of test-drive-love did you get there?

The sales manager there is a mate's mate so he knew me and my wife got used to the power of our Mini Cooper S...

He brought us to the quiet streets (some with slopes) to play around with the hill start and sport mode, some fast curves and roundabouts to test the suspension...and to Princes Hwy to catch up with the traffic. :D

Both me and my wife drove it for around 20-30mins(?)

If you haven't order a car yet go Sutherland look for Raymond next week (he is off this week) say Nelson sent you.

I saw you mentioned that you are looking at a Prestige in the other thread. Raymond did mention to me that he thought everyone would go for the basic model so he ordered heaps of them but apparently most buyers went for Luxury/Fsport. So bargain hard if you want one. :)
