At closing the dealer explained the Allstate package for repairs. It averages $500/year for four years, with a $100 deductible. What is your experience with repair costs? This does *not* include brake pads, oil changes, or wiper blades. Thank you.

I just picked up a 2015, sounds like the same type of extended warrentee I was offered. even though ive always done my own work, I ended up taking it. One transmission glitch, or any other major system will cost at least that, and it was worth the peace of mind to me.

Parts are expensive. The windshield alone is over $1000, I've had to replace 2 of them and had to pay the $500 deductible on my insurance. I also hit a deer when the car was fairly new. $8K to fix that one... That being said, my 2011 has 91K miles and the only thing I've ever had to have repaired was the center console latch which was a faulty design and replaced with a new design. That's it! Amazingly reliable.

Aside from new tires and oil changes, I haven't paid a dime since 2015.
