I picked up a new cap and a carbon fiber 1.5" stubby. The stubby wasn't wide enough in diameter and didn't completely cover where it screws in. This worried me in regards to water getting in. The good thing is, the cap that I also order was a perfect fit and I think looks pretty nice. Below are a few pictures and the link to where I got it. The seller took a week from date of purchase to me receiving it. $10 for the antenna cap and $3 for shipping. Not too bad. I just purchased a Dr. Colorchip to cover up the few paint chips but I plan on painting the cap too. I will update with pictures once that happens.

I bought two pieces and only used one. The stubby was suggested by a few members on here but they also noted that it wasn't a perfect fit. I got the cap version just on the off chance I would like it.

So the painting the cap idea didn't turn out as well and I actually have the stubby antenna with the carbon fiber on there now. The cap actually gave me issues with radio signal as it was hardly ever coming in HD anymore. After switching to the stubby, it seem to have fixed that.

OKay I am ready to get one of these.. which one should I get that will cover the whole thing up top and make it so no water can get in? I don't have HD radio in my car so reception on that doesn't matter.

I have a 2011.
