I got the CT200h three weeks back and everytime I got the navigation menu, I am getting Navigation update message. I am not sure anybody got this message or did I pressed something wrong. I took pics with my phone and attached to the thread.

I have never gotten that message. Does the Nav work at all? I wonder if your dealer didn't set it up correctly or something?

I got that message when was playing arnd with nav menu...so I assume u pressed something o get that message

Have you gotten it again since that first time? Do you remember where you were in the menu? It sounds like he gets that message every time he opens the menu.

I would look at the nav guide or call the dealer.

If I use Map button on right side above hand held joystick aka mouse, Map will work fine. If I use map data inside the menu, that will not work and take me to the update page. I don't know how to get ride of it.

Isn't that just the dealer update screen? I always just press the map button on the mouse to get to the map...

You're pressing the map info button in the info phone screen. There's nothing wrong; that's how the dealer updates your map after they charge you an arm and leg.

The appropriate way to display the map is the map button.

I will never pay money to the dealership to update my navigation maps. The navigational system in the car isn't that good in the first place. Lexus will have to do something really fantastic for me to even consider spending money on an update/upgrade. The system is second rate at best.

I agree, no match compared to Audi's navigation system. I can not understand why the traffic navigation is so much better in my Audi, yet both get their information from the same source.

I definitely second that. The nav system is just crippled when in motion, and there's not 3D map view, and you can't really customize it in terms of voices, colors, etc.

definitely don't see justification in paying $299 for a map upgrade when it only upgrades roads and stuff. I wish there was an OS update to update our CTs to be like the new 2013 GS with the built in apps like Pandora, OpenTable, etc.
