I have a 2012 CT200h and I'm about to update the navigation software to the 2018 update. The Lexus dealership says this update cost $330.00. I've been told that the ct200h and the Prius share many parts. Does anyone know if the Prius share the same navigation software as the ct200h? I'm thinking that the Toyota Dealership can do this job for less than the Lexus Dealership. Does anyone have an answer to this question?
Updated my 2011 last week here in NZ
Cost $150 NZ and was done at the lexus dealership ( I think my model uses a DVD made by TomTom for Lexus acording to the brochure they left on the seat for me)

That sounds about right. When I called the dealership I was told the software cost $167.00 and the other $163 was for labor. If all it's only then I should be able to do that and save $163.00. Thanks ddonalds.
Just been on holiday and noticed that tunnels built 2-3 years ago are still not on the maps so my upgrade was a waste of money.
Lexus also advised that they will no longer have updates for the 2011 model. (NZ and Australia)
I updated mine in Dec 2018 with the newest version for my 2011.
The dealer charged $238.
It is a joke that they require using a proprietary computer and software to update. Previous models were just DVDs and newer models are by SD or USB that you can do yourself. They scammed people with the shitty navs around 2011 requiring going to dealer for an update.
