Navigated through a tunnel today for the first time, and to my surprise, the location was still pretty accurate throughout the tunnel.
Did some googling and found out about dead-reckoning, where the GPS unit estimates based on last known speed...
But since this is an in-built unit, it should have access to more stuff, like direction and actual speed, so does anyone know if our Nav systems do just dead-reckoning, or does it take into account direction and speed as well?
