Well,
....I got the news yesterday! My ship...(with my 2011 CT200h on board) will be coming into the port of Jacksonville Florida around the 11th of July. This will set a delivery around the 18th of July. For those keeping score, and God knows this includes just about everyone on this board, I ordered my Car on March 19th with a $1000 deposit. I ordered a non-navigation car with Smoky Granite Mica for the color with Eccru for the interior. The only things to be put on in Jacksonville are the door sills and the bumper applique. So..... for me after MONTHS of waiting....it's beginning to look like "Christmas in July" for me!
So excited...will keep everyone updated....if your date of order was around the middle of March....hang in there....your "lottery number" or Ship may come in any day!!!:)

Congrats on the almost getting of your car...please, when you get it, look inside the drivers door edge...the black plate on the car (not the door) will give a build date month and year...post that...just curious to see if a car ordered coming in as late as July was a build date after March (tsunami) or during or before March.
Oh man, good for you brother!! I ordered mine 4 days after yours. I wonder if I might get mine....maybe.
Congratulations on your confirmed date..
Down hill now.
Congrats to you. We take delivery Saturday morning. Perhaps will see you scooting around NC.
Congrats you will love it.

Got mine two weeks ago so I can still remember the excitement and wait being so close to getting it.

Do remember though (I have to deal with it often) ships and customs work at their own speed and nobody else's so until the dealer takes delivery he can't really give you a date.
You won't regret the choice of vehicle. Enjoy and drive safe!

How do you know this, can you track this some where or dealer is supposed to tell you, I am just asking as I am expecting my one to be delivered around same time. But I have not heard anything like this from my dealer or sales guy...
My Dealer in Columbus Ohio also through out the date of arrival July 11. How big is this ship? Is it big enough to satisfy all orders from Florida to Ohio. I placed my order March 13.
As far as the date is concerned, I have to have a HUGE amount of TRUST in what the dealer is telling it's customers. I have not been mis-led yet so I have to go with what they say. Their communication has been at times hit and miss but mainly hit! I do have understanding that they are dealing with an event that is truly unprecedented. It must be hard when you go from having 100 to 150 cars on your lot to 16 to 18 that the dealer I have been dealing with has. As long as I know that "my" car is on the way and an "approximate" date is forthcoming, that makes me much more of a happy camper and I can proceed with details such as selling my present car and financing etc. For a car that was "maybe" going to be a hit, to one that is as RARE as seening a Ferrarri on the open road, LEXUS has a real "hit" on their hands and that leads to demand problems even discounting the effects of the tsunami!

Congrats Probie!
I ordered mine on 03/21 (Starfire Pearl/Water Grey, Prem Audio, Nav, Leather & LED) and as of yesterday, my dealer still has no news for me. Since yours were ordered just a few days before mine, it gives me hope that I'll hear something soon...
Congrats, you will love this car! I am impatient/impulsive (or so my wife says) so I bought the showroom model one trim line under what I wanted in mid April rather than waiting and I am so happy I did! Someone on this site said this is the first car they actually look forward to driving everyday and after 2 months and a lot of time behind the wheel I can say the same!

My salesman gave me an invoice(?) of some sort with vehicle VIN, description & details the day I committed to buy...and it had "Vessel Name" on it. I was able to track it online by the ship's name. Turned out it had docked at an NJ port a day earlier, and already leaving toward the Panama Canal. From that point it took 10 days to arrive at the dealership; paperwork and plates all ready to go. Just for fun, I tracked the vessel again, and it was past the Panama Canal and heading for Japan.
I'm assuming if I had this info, you can get it from your salesman, too? (unless it hasn't been boarded on a ship yet, which can be an excuse)
Congrats! So weird how every dealership does things differently, some tell you ship/port info (not mine) and some get them in quicker than others and other regions. I special ordered mine 4/13 and I've been in the car for 2.5 weeks now, really makes no sense.
