New to CT forum, not new to cars and the mods that come along with them.

I got into the habit of starting a intro build thread with all my new to me cars just to document the changes it goes thru.

My history/intro.

Background in 12v. I am around cars everyday. One minute it can be a 86 Honda prelude stick with 300k miles next to a 300k dollar Bently lol. What's even crazier is the prelude is paying for more work than the Bently. I have owned my own car stereo shop, dealer expediter business, fleet service business and sold them all to move to the south east from the north east. Now not a chief anymore, just a plain old Indian enjoying life with out the self employed headaches.

Cars
-had a fewvolvos. 93base manual, 94 855t, 95 glt na, 97 850R BTCC replica, 98 s70 na, 98 t5, 99xc70 lifted/camo/bull bar, 01 c70 t5 manual(current since 07, my bae), 03 xc90 lowered, 05 v70r
-03 4runner tons of mods, currently my zombie apocalypse vehicle complete with winch, and roof top tent.
-95 previa all trac supercharged "Tali-Van".lifted 4.5 inches, train horns, steel front tubular bumper, on light truck all terrain tires. Yes, it's true not kidding.

Now I join the CT club because I got a job to test out a 16 prius last weekend and got bitten by the miles per tank. I hated the plastic in the prius and the center dash. Looked into to some more and drove a few CT and loved it for what it was, a luxurious prius with much better styling and comforts.

Gave the car back on a Monday, found and bought a CT by Wednesday same week.

2013 CT base fire agate pearl, 37k miles, with caramel interior for $14250. Dealership had it for 115 days. Not my first choice in color but growing on me.

Sunday morning I started my first mod after pulling the equipment out of my previa.

-Kenwood excelon dnx 891hd, metra aswc, back camera.
-debadged sides and rear
-replaced plate lights to 6 led bulbs
-replaced both map lights to 15smd led panels
-replaced center dome with two 15 led panels
-compustar dash front and rear HD dash cam with 64gb SD card mod.
-tinted 5%rears, 15%fronts and 55%front wind shield
-hardwired my escort radar

Future mods
-AL Priority 5 head laser jammers
-k40 360 expert radar
-compustar pro t11,drone,touch rps, ezgo, remote start alarm
-Kenwood 5 channel amp
-Kenwood 7 inch oversized front components speakers
-Kenwood 7 inch oversized rear coaxial speakers
-hid fogs
-hid lows

Don't know how to post pictures on here but I'll try.

Welcome to the CT club, that's an excellent price for the years and miles.

I still own and drive my '93 Volvo 5 sp 850, super reliable through these 23 years, has 232k miles, less and less now that I've been driving my CT.

Curious how the '16 Prius drove compared to the CT since it is new and have been reading great reviews on it's driving dynamics. Wondering of the next CT generation will incorporate the same drive train.

Not OP, but my parents have a '16 Prius and the driving dynamics are way better than gen 3.
I had a 2010 and it was a sloppy, dead mess. They really got it right for gen 4.

I still think the CT handles better, but it's close.

16 prius drove like all the other prius i have driven. slow, lazy shifting granny LOL. loads of plastic and that info screen is just too much info, made me look at it all the time trying to get better gas mileage. worst is it has the same info up top and on the screen on the radio. and its in the center.

drove the ct, love the looks and handling characteristics and sacrifice 8 -10mpg, yes im ok with that. escpecially if i dont have to look at the center dash bezel and be surrounded by all that plastic.

newest mod....7 star dragonball

i got the same tires. great for the price. i probably took 5-8mpg dive though. the treadlife rating on it is bs. be very wary of potholes with those hankook tires. i had to replace tires 3 different times when i found tumors on the sidewall. luckily i got mine done at americastires.
