Hi, just bought the 2014 F Sport two weeks ago, currently at 80k on the odometer.


First question: Noticed the moonroof works periodically. not sure if temperature has anything to do with it being working sometimes. Has anyone has experiencing this?


2nd question: Does Lexus warranty covers this mechanical issue?


3rd question: I bought the car used, I noticed in the service history (see attached picture), the previous owner bought the "prepaid" maintenance, can that be transferred to the new owner by paying the $50 transfer fee?

I think at 5+ years and 80K miles you are well past the warranty that would cover the moon roof.

Thanks Leonard40, went to the dealership says warranty expired, the prepaid maintenance only good for 60k miles. So everything from this point on is out of pocket which is out of my price range.

Now I really need to find a solution to fix the moonroof not working during hot temperatures. It seems to be an issue with other Lexus models like IS.
